I have just become a new member and am a little overwhelmed... you may not believe me but I'm the Heather that played "Roxanne Caldwell" on this short-lived, ahead of it's time series.
We had so much fun making it, and I'm so pleased to say that We've remained friends over all these years.
Thanks for watching the show... and thanks for still remembering!

Heather

yvw mate i also love your streethawk site i love all the old 80's shows may they never be forgotten i have all the knight riders one of my favs he he

Yes all the old early 80's shows were amazing to watch when I was just 10 years old. The thing that drue me to this site was I have seen a lot of them since the early 80's with the exception of 'Automan' but now thats changed thanks to the torrent downloads. I am actually seeding the AVI DivX version rather than the larger '.MPG' version that is listed on the site. Bother are the same quality wise its just smaller so helps with bandwidth for people who are unable to seed and conect 24/7.

You'll get there when you see the cursor jumping out of the monitor, then buzzing around your head. Oh, and expect the lights to dim a little!   Grin

Yes the true sound of victory indeed  Wink

Yes I have built/put together a new phpBB forum site for a friend so I know what your going through. After spending more time on the server making SQL database changes, file edits,HTML template changes and adding cust smillies and PNG images, its a real treat to be able to post and visit a new place as just a registered user for a change  Cheesy

I finally found how to post something !  I am glad this site is on here because I can discuss the making of the film.
I was an extra in the pilot  (1st) film I played a Global Guard, A Scientist at The Alpine Institue of Technology (AIT) and an Interpol police officer. If there are any others out there who were in the film that would write to me I'd like to hear from you.
Well, all I can say is that I had  a blast doing it, and I learned a little about movie making. Well Bye for now  Regards  R.W.

Very cool.  Any chance you could post some pictures of the costumes?

Almost 20 years ago (!) I was staying with a friend in N. Hollywood while I looked for my own apt.

Out front of the complex one sunday morning, a professional hollywood costumer, whose name I can't remember, (possibly Chuck?)
was having a yard sale. He had a couple of racks of costumes for sale from various films and tv shows because he had so many
costumes in his apt., including the dress Scarlett O'Hara wore in Gone With The Wind, he had to get rid stuff just to make room.

I bought about a dozen items, including 3 costumes from Automan.

Yes, I have the Automan costumes designed by Jean-Pierre Docleac!

I never saw the show, but judging from the online pictures, I believe the 1st costume is the full-body Automan, silver metallic on dark-blue spandex.

The 2nd costume is full-body and looks like a stunt costume because the fabric
looks intentionally torn and twisted, white metallic on white spandex.

The 3rd costume is upper torso only and, again, is silver metallic on dark-blue spandex.

They are the coolest costumes and when people see them, they are blown away.

A small group of people gathered here!  Smiley

Is there any possibility for this show to be pictured again with new production and actors, or a movie maybe?

Another Josh Special.

Great to see someone finally pick up on the mid-80s half-season shows. I take it MANIMAL is next? Or THE HIGHWAYMAN?   Roll Eyes
